Babylon Translations Ltd. has provided translation services for more than 25 years. It is based in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and works with a network of specialist translators for each language pair and field.

Babylon Translations is a Bulgarian translation agency with long experience on the international translation market. Its office is at 140 Bulgaria Blvd., 4003 Plovdiv.

A motivated and competent team of in-house project managers and proofreaders runs each order. The agency's own global network includes professional translators for each language pair and field: linguists, engineers, doctors, economists and other proven experts with extensive translation experience.

Translations are made by translators who translate into their mother tongue and live in the country for which the document is intended. Translation and review processes are certified to four ISO standards, described on the quality page, and dedicated software supports quality assurance.

Sets the brief

Provides the files, the language pair and variant, the intended use, the required date and any reference material such as glossaries or earlier translations. The translation guide lists what helps.

Project management

Plans and coordinates

An in-house project manager analyses the files, confirms the quote and the delivery date in writing, selects the translator and reviser, and answers questions.

Linguists

Translate and revise

A specialist translator working into their mother tongue translates the text; a second linguist revises it, and proofreaders run the final checks.
